A broke loser who runs a paper effigy shop, practices Taoist arts, and hides a mysterious past accidentally signs a contract with the Underworld, becoming one of its soul ferrymen.
He sets up altars and performs rituals to drive away evil and avert disaster;
He invites gods to possess him and travels between the realms of the living and the dead;
He amasses a fortune and has beautiful women flocking around him.
