[Sweet romance + both leads are inexperienced + one-on-one] Shen Tingxia accidentally enters an old-fashioned CEO romance novel. Knowing that in the original story she will be killed by the villainous tycoon for pursuing the male lead, she abandons her heiress identity and takes a low-level office job at a small company just to stay alive. After accidentally being drugged one day, she flees and hides in an attic down a dark alley, where she spends the night with a handsome, shabby-looking man covered in motor oil. When she wakes up, she leaves him five hundred yuan as hush money and runs off. What she doesn't know is that the man she took for a poor nobody is actually Bo Jingyan, the story's big villain, hiding out there because of his bipolar disorder. Bo Jingyan is so amused by the five hundred yuan that he plays along, keeping up his “poor car mechanic” act as he corners her and demands compensation.
