My 1980s Army Wife Is Fierce: One Kick Sends Her Husky Husband Flying Off the Bed

[Terrible stepmother + spatial supplies + reforming troublemaking kids + spoiled, high-maintenance heroine in a military marriage in the 1980s + devoted wife-spoiling husband + troublesome relatives + satisfying read]

Lin Wan, a 21st-century food blogger, opens her eyes to find she's become the notorious, awful stepmother in a military compound in the 1980s.

Her husband is Gu Cheng, a cold-faced regiment commander who's almost never home, and she comes with three troublemaking kids destined to turn their world upside down.

The eldest can beat anyone in the compound, the second is a seasoned petty thief, and the youngest is a little green-tea schemer who cries all day.

Faced with a bare house and three pairs of ravenous eyes, Lin Wan skips the warm-and-fuzzy approach and goes straight to reverse parenting.

Want a meal? The eldest chops wood, the second does the laundry, and the youngest massages her legs. Otherwise, you can watch me eat braised pork all by myself!

The wives in the compound wait for her to wreck the family, but instead they see the troublemaking eldest become fiercely protective of his mom, the second become a whiz at collecting money, and the youngest turn into her devoted little sweetheart.

When the absent Gu Cheng finally returns, dusty from the road, he sees the three kids completely under control and his pretty little wife lounging in a rocking chair while directing the whole family. For the first time, he questions his life.

That night, he tries to fulfill his duties as a husband, only for Lin Wan to kick him out of bed. “Want to get in? Go wash tomorrow's vegetables first!”
