This is not a story about escaping from prison.
This is a story about
realizing you are in prison,
then deciding
not to blow up the prison,
not to escape from the prison,
but instead
to redefine what prison means,
and, in the process,
turn the prison into a school,
turn the guards into classmates,
turn punishments into lessons,
and ultimately
help every prisoner
become their own liberator.
This is The Cognitive Restructurer.
A story about a madman treating a mental hospital while inside one.
A story about a test subject turning around and designing the experiment.
A story about a prisoner rebuilding the prison.
Because true freedom has never meant living without a cage.
It means still being able to choose, even inside one
what perspective to use when looking at the cage,
and whether to reach out and help the others inside it
learn to see it that way, too.
