When Lin Wan's consciousness woke up in the delivery room, she thought she was the chosen time traveler - born in a magical continent, born into a noble family, and carrying a full set of "original" memories. She will be the savior sung by the bards, script in hand, step by step.
But she guessed the wrong beginning and wrong ending.
The more she relies on her "prophecy" to avoid disaster, the more the world collapses; the more she tries to save the characters who must die in the "original work", the more death comes again like a shadow. When she finally rescued her childhood friend who didn't deserve to die, the price was that three cities were reduced to ruins in the "revision" of the plot.
The "plot" she knew was a lie woven by the world itself.
The "prophet" she cherishes is the poison that consumes the world.
When she was fifteen years old, Lin Wan was on the verge of death in a non-existent assassination, and finally saw the truth: the world was a cage, and all those who traveled through it were "energy sources" in captivity. Every time she uses the "prophet", the wall of the cage becomes an inch thinner; every time she changes the plot, the end becomes faster.
What's even more frightening is that she discovers that the "manager" of this cage is living inside her body.
Now, there are two roads before her:
Follow the script, become the perfect savior, and then be "recycled" and obliterated by the world at the end;
Defying fate, dragging the whole world along with him in the collapse of the plot.
"So, I choose the third path."
Lin Wan whispered to the void and clenched the "original book" that was burning itself in her hand.
"If the savior is destined to become a god - then this time, I will kill the god."
