This is not a monster manual. What we document is something far more sinister—conceptual parasites that sprout from the shadows of human civilization.
They have no fixed form, but appear as phenomena, rules, and infectious logic. For example, "Carter" (order-addicted light), "Proofreader" (text-absolutizing virus), and "Mother Vine" (love dissolves boundaries). The terror lies not in the fangs, but in their silent way of tampering with the rules by which you perceive the world.
Each file contains a two-layer structure: the surface layer is the self-consistent setting and rules of terrifying creatures; the inner layer is buried with extreme metaphors for social diseases (never stated directly). Rules are weaknesses, costs are hopes—this is the tragic logic at the heart of all archives.
This book is dedicated to two types of people: readers looking for the shivers of the abyss (it is recommended to read individual entries in the sun), and creators who need new horror inspiration (all settings are open to licensing, only metaphorical interpretations are prohibited).
But be careful: the number of archive pages will automatically increase when no one is there. After reading, there is a 0.7% Probability that you will encounter "similar things" in reality.
Perhaps, by documenting horror, this book is itself becoming horror.
