[Raising a Child + Everyone’s Favorite + No Romance]
Little Er Feng opens his eyes and finds himself the second son of Qin Shi Huang. Faced with his cold-faced father, Ying Zheng, the little ray of sunshine decides to make it on his own.
Dad doesn’t love me? Then I’ll love him! The court is gloomy? I’ll be the one to shine!
And so, the mood in Xianyang Palace changes overnight. Crooked bamboo slips urging the king to eat more begin appearing on his desk, and after court debates, everyone can hear a child’s babyish voice offering words of comfort.
At first, Ying Zheng frowns. “What a nuisance.” But he gradually grows used to glancing at the excited little figure waiting outside the hall after court.
One snowy day, he instinctively scoops up the little bundle running toward him and wraps him in his cloak.
A muffled laugh comes from his arms. “Father!”
Ying Zheng pauses, then softly answers, “Mm.”
The iceberg has yet to melt, but sunlight has quietly begun seeping through the cracks.
Erfeng is so cute hehehehehe
I really like this setting. I hope to write more about the relationship between father and son and the struggle for hegemony in the court.
Come on, look forward to updates
