Good Heavens! Bodhisattvas! A Flood Swept Me to My Husband's Home!

[Pretty, absent-minded painter Lan Yuwen, a poor young man, VS rational, aloof cashier Meng Qichen]

[Both virgins + male/male romance + sweet at first, then angst + older seme + BE + slow-paced + eight-year age gap]

The first time Lan Yuwen experienced it firsthand, he realized that a flood really was like a ferocious beast! After being rescued, he couldn’t help thinking about the man who had saved him. At a friend’s suggestion, he decided to make the first move!

Who knew Meng Qichen would be impossible to sway!

Lan Yuwen was an introvert, and this was the first time he’d ever been so forward. He went to the supermarket and bought a month’s worth of water. At last, he summoned the courage to ask in a quiet voice, “Um... could I add you on WeChat...?”

Before he could finish, Meng Qichen handed him the shopping bag without even looking up. “No.”

Lan Yuwen pressed his lips together, lowered his head, and left.

Meng Qichen had seen pretty young men before. He remembered that day: the other guy had just bought something from him, then thrown himself into another man’s arms...

So when Lan Yuwen showed his interest, Meng Qichen turned him down coldly. In his eyes, Lan Yuwen was a guy who seemed pure and shy but was actually shameless and two-timing everyone!!

Only later did he discover that it had all been a misunderstanding...

And so the cold, bad-tempered Meng Qichen made the first move!

He said, “A-Wen, I want to watch the stars with you... for the rest of our lives...”

“A-Wen, you’re so pretty... and you smell so good...”

He also said:

“No one else likes Lan Yuwen? I, Meng Qichen, do!”

“A-Wen! Don’t leave me...”
