Jade Spring Blade

A fake sweet innocent girl versus a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

They’re both head over heels for each other without realizing it.

Wen Yu was a country girl. One day, she happened to find an assassin.

As the old saying goes, picking up a man brings a lifetime of bad luck.

Sure enough, Mu Yunfan, commander of the Palace Guard, came sniffing around.

His search of the village turned up nothing, but then his gaze landed on the bloodstain at the hem of Wen Yu’s skirt.

Following the principle of “better to kill the innocent than let the guilty escape,” he threw Wen Yu in jail and threatened her.

How could a country girl stand up to such a scare? She wept pitifully, tears falling like pear blossoms in the rain.

She said she had no idea why she wouldn’t stop bleeding.

Mu Yunfan: “...”

He had no experience with this sort of thing.

When they met again in the capital, he drew his bow and rescued Wen Yu from a gang of thugs.

She clutched his belt pitifully, eyes reddening.

The thugs hugged their silver and grinned foolishly.

On the way home, Wen Yu touched the sleeve arrow on her wrist and blushed with a smile.

Who would have thought Lord Mu would resort to the corny trick of playing the hero to get close to her?

Could it be that he really likes me?
