Reborn to Power

Lin Yu, a promising young secretary to a county Party secretary, was killed in a plot against him at the start of his political career. After unexpectedly being reborn, he used his memories from his previous life to foresee major events and became a “prophet” on the political stage. Through his grandfather, who was connected to the centers of power in the capital, he returned to official life and drew the attention of senior leaders by writing confidential reports based on his precise predictions of the future. As his influence grew, he was assigned to posts in cities across the country. In each one, he planned ahead, handled crises, and drove development. But the political arena is a battlefield, and his rise threatened entrenched interests, provoking obstruction and frame-ups by political rivals. Faced with difficult choices involving power, love, and ideals, Lin Yu must accomplish the impossible in a limited time. He must tackle major crises and break through the obstacles of officialdom, ultimately leaving his own legend on the political stage. This is an urban tale of a prophet locked in a struggle for power.
