I Can't Help but Tempt the Rose

[Thorny rose of a young lady ✖️ refined, rakish heir] The tension and flirtation reach their peak as the story unfolds. Everyone in Beijing’s elite circles knows that He Wenzu, heir to the He family, is refined and untouchable, a smiling devil by reputation. But when Song Jinyuan runs into this legendary, highborn heir, he has her female subordinate cornered and is acting “with bad intentions.” The deal can fall through, but a creep has to be taught a lesson. She splashes red wine all over him in front of everyone and calls him a “pervert!” Only afterward does she learn it was a disastrous misunderstanding. To save the project, she has no choice but to swallow her pride and apologize. He Wenzu lounges lazily in his leather chair, smiling like a fox. “Is all Ms. Song’s sincerity just talk?” Everyone waits for news that the He family has blacklisted her. Instead, He Wenzu drapes his coat over her shoulders. To everyone’s astonishment, he bends down and chuckles in her ear, his tone indulgent and helpless. “Little troublemaker, how about I give you all of the He family’s ten-billion-yuan projects for the coming year?” Song Jinyuan has always thought He Wenzu was only teasing her on a whim. But He Wenzu indulges her without limit, pampering her until she feels on top of the world. Just as she falls for him and loses herself, she overhears him casually tell a friend, “Song Jinyuan? She’s just an amusing diversion.” - Later, she disappears, and Beijing’s elite circles are thrown into chaos. The heir goes mad searching the entire city, finally finding her at the mouth of an alley on a rainy night. His expensive suit is caked in mud, his eyes bloodshot, his proud composure shattered. “Nannan, I finally found you…” “Everyone says He Wenzu is cool and self-possessed. I’m the only one who knows how wildly he can lose control. And I’m the one who brought him down from his pedestal.”
