The entire Ye family was wiped out through a joint attack by the Li family and evil cultivators. The only survivor, Ye Chen, escaped for his life to Falling Star Village with the Dark Ruins Jade Pendant.
There he encountered the Heaven-Devouring beast Mo Tie and obtained the ancestral Dark Ruins Heaven-Burning Art. From then on, he entered the Profound Abyss Mountains and steadily advanced in cultivation, starting as a minor bone-tempering cultivator. He braved the Azure Nether Valley, broke into the Starry Secret Realm, and seized the Star Lord's legacy.
With three-colored blades of light in hand and his loyal beast Mo Tie at his side, he joined forces with righteous cultivators, resisted the Li family's pursuit, and cut down the evil cultivators who brought chaos. By merging the power of the Star Lord with his Dark Ruins battle veins, he transformed from an orphan fleeing for his life into the Dark Ruins Star Lord, protector of the Profound Vault. His path of vengeance was also a path of protection!
