Demon Slayer: The Lonely Plum Braving the Snow

No transmigration, local characters, canon pairings remain intact, friendship-focused, apologies for out-of-character moments.

All the Hashira survive. There are comedic parts, and this is written purely out of love.

Some characters’ personalities will change because a few people, such as Ruka Rengoku and Sabito, are saved. I’ll try to keep them in character as much as possible. Also, the author can only guarantee that Xia Xia will save them. Leave the counseling and such to Tanzi.

First, a little character description.

The snowy landscape stretched endlessly, and the bitter wind whipped up the powdery snow. Only one proud plum tree stood amid the vast white, its crimson blossoms seeming to burn with a faint flame.

A person stood beneath it, so slender that a gust of wind might have knocked her over. Her face was as pale as paper, making the silver strands in her ink-black hair all the more striking, like frost that had yet to melt. Her gray-white eyes were hazy and vacant, with no fixed point of focus. They seemed to hold a desolate snowy plain, reflecting neither the plum blossoms’ vivid red nor the snow’s pure white.

A few flecks of snow clung to her Demon Slayer Corps uniform. Wide bandages wrapped from her neck to her wrists, concealing the scars beneath layer upon layer. Dark marks showed faintly at the edges of the bandages; it was impossible to tell whether they were old or new. She stood there in silence, shoulders drooping slightly, her expression as forlorn as a fallen leaf forgotten by the world. Against the proud plum tree behind her, she formed a contrast both broken and desolate. The wind and snow swept past, leaving only a silent gloom.
