Office drone Lin Mo was born with a knack for bad luck. Overtime, being made the scapegoat, and getting strung along by his boss are all part of his daily routine. Then, one day, he finds a rebellious koi-fish pendant and unlocks the power to make wishes backfire. He wishes for a project to be completed, and the draft gets deleted by mistake. He wishes to avoid overtime, and ends up working through the night. He helps his childhood friend wish for a high-paying job, only for the friend to become a social media manager at a funeral home. One absurd wishing fiasco follows another, but Lin Mo somehow catches a lucky break in the chaos. He also becomes a bickering yet affectionate pair with workplace overachiever Su Xiaoyu, setting off on a hilarious journey to turn his life around.
