Age of Rules: The Human World Is a Living Hell

"Don't trust the 'good luck' announcements."

Those words were written on a bloodstained note.

And Lin Jin had just found twelve cans of food thanks to today's announced event: "The seal is intact."

At midnight every day, an eerie voice rings out in every survivor's mind, announcing the world's "rule" for the day.

Bad luck brings death, while good luck offers a chance to live. This is the one iron law of the wasteland.

As the last observer from the former Institute of Abnormal Studies, Lin Jin struggles to survive in the ruins of a city where every street and every building conceals deadly dangers. His only aid is a journal filled with rules: the Observer's Log. Until he finds that note.

Until he begins to wonder: the "events" that arrive on time every day, the seemingly random "good luck" that sustains humanity's faint hope, may not be natural disasters at all.

When the rules themselves begin to lie, and hope becomes the deepest trap,

knowledge is the only weapon, and observation the last fortress.

Welcome to the apocalypse.
