One-sentence premise: A top-tier star campus beauty returns with a new face, using a livestream System to gather evidence, expose corruption in education before the judgment of the public, and exact her ultimate revenge.
Three years ago, top student Lin Nuo was kidnapped by a powerful family on the eve of the college entrance exam. Her face was disfigured, and her place was stolen by an impostor. Three years later, under the alias “Lin Xiaoyou,” she is reborn through forbidden cosmetic surgery and returns to school as a repeat student. Using the “Truth-Gathering System,” she maintains the persona of a “perfect campus beauty” in her livestreams to draw massive traffic, while secretly collecting key evidence about the impostor case. Meanwhile, a student detective team led by Shen Ce discovers encrypted pleas for help hidden in her livestream videos. As Lin Xiaoyou lures the culprit into her trap, she finds herself caught in a deep mire of predatory cosmetic surgery loans and corrupt dealings between officials and the education bureau. At last, during a livestream watched by tens of millions, she deliberately strips away her filters, reveals her disfigured scars, and brings to light the scandal that has been buried for three years.
