Yushan Chronicles: The Song of Wuxian

This is the story of Wu Sheng, a young man from Changshu and a descendant of the Wu Xian bloodline, who awakens to his duty as a guardian in a modern city. Alongside his companion Yu Ji, an incarnation of the spirit of Shang Lake, he draws on the wisdom of the ancient text Wu Xian Jue and traditional arts such as the guqin to avert natural disasters brought on by greed and hatred, embodied by the Po Jun Pavilion. Together, they restore the ecological ley lines of Yushan and Shang Lake, and Wu Sheng grows into a new-age “Guardian of the Mountains and Rivers.”
