This is a historical romance about a modern screenwriter, Yan Hui, who accidentally transmigrates into another era. After her parents sell her to human traffickers, she is rescued by Ning Qingheng, who happens to be passing by. She then makes a living with her cooking at the Fulaike Inn in Fengcheng, before becoming entangled in Ning Qingheng’s investigation and the royal family’s feuds. In the end, the two realize they share the same feelings and face the crisis together.
