After I Opened My Eyes to Appraise Treasures, the Whole Company Begged Me to Judge Them

On my first day at an antiques company, my supervisor humiliated me in front of everyone: “What does a blind man know about appraising treasures?”

> I silently wiped the spit from my face, then turned and picked up a stone from the scrap heap that had been used to prop up a table leg.

> When it was cut open, the room fell silent: glass-type Imperial Green jade.

> The next day, the president personally invited me into his office. “About your eyesight, the board would like to discuss it again.”

> I smiled and pointed to the fake masterpiece on his wall. “Shall we talk about the eighty million you were swindled out of first?”
