The Mystery of the Silent Echo

This is a story about “restoration.”

In the “Fractured Realm,” where time has shattered and the laws of nature have collapsed, great power is not expressed through destruction, but through the ability to sense and mend what is “broken.” Lin Su, an apprentice Star Stitcher, guards the quiet workshop known as the Resting Pavilion, tucked away in a corner of a small town, after his teacher’s departure. His days are spent restoring old objects that hold the townspeople’s memories and trying to solve his teacher’s final assignment: an ancient mirror called the Sunken Abyss, riddled with cracks and steeped in a sorrowful past.

But when he accidentally digs up a fragment beneath an old tree in the courtyard, one that shares the same origin as the ancient mirror, ripples disturb his peaceful life as an apprentice. The Star Stitcher’s Mark on his wrist, a symbol of his qualification as a restorer, gives him a clear tug for the first time. Meanwhile, mysterious strangers have quietly appeared in town, seemingly with hidden motives of their own.

Lin Su gradually realizes that restoring the Sunken Abyss mirror is more than a test of skill. It is also an exploration into the world’s buried truths. He must use patience and insight as his compass, painstakingly working day after day to unravel the mysteries of the past entangled with the ancient mirror, and listen for the profound echoes about to resound through this world’s utter silence.
