Tale of the Dark River: Chang Geng's Farewell

Original heroine × Su Changhe

OOC warning

Since the dawn of creation, countless beings have gathered between heaven and earth, and among them a god was born. She had seen every facet of the world, yet there was one person she could never see clearly.

Qi Zui was the name she chose for herself. A god living in the land of immortals, she had no interest in the world. After witnessing countless changes of dynasty, she turned her attention to the Northern Li dynasty. Along the way, she saw a figure shrouded in what seemed like mist. She heard his name was Su Changhe.

“What an interesting person.”

“Because you’re interesting, I want to get close to you.”

“You shouldn’t be like this. You should stand in the sunlight, not hide in the Dark River.”

Later, Su Changhe thought the Dark River could carry him to the other shore, where he would finally reach the light. But reality proved it was difficult, terribly difficult.

He had never imagined he would meet a god.

“What exactly are your intentions?”

“How can someone from the Dark River find their way into the light?”

Only after living through it did Su Changhe realize that there truly was a god willing to defy heaven for him.
