[Welcome to the uncanny dream dungeon. I'm your assistant sprite, Xiao Ning. The title of this dream is...]

[Dreams may be real or unreal. Waking up will not affect your real life, but dying in a dream means you really die.]

At their first meeting, they spoke in unison:

"Have we met somewhere before?"

But each of them had their own hidden agenda.

Ruan Ning has a congenital emotional disorder. She is emotionally detached, never cries or laughs hysterically, and is always as cold and emotionless as a monster. Yet at first sight of him, she feels a strange sense of familiarity. How absurd: she's fallen for a stranger.

Xia Qingzhou has awakened to self-awareness. He knows he's just an NPC in a dream dungeon, but he refuses to be an NPC in someone else's world. He wants to be the protagonist of his own. When he discovers he can see through the souls of the "outsiders," he toys with human nature again and again.

Until Ruan Ning arrives. She's an exception: he can't see through her. So perhaps she's the key Heaven has sent him to break free from his shackles...

When she/he discovers the other's true nature, when she/he falls hopelessly in love with the other, what kind of conspiracy lies hidden at the end of this game?
