p1. The Angsty Version
I have two disciples. One is the protagonist of the novel, blessed with a halo, absurdly lucky, and loved by everyone. The other is the protagonist’s archenemy, commonly known as the villain. He’s not only sweet-tongued but spiteful, and he’s always picking on the protagonist, making me feel like he doesn’t have long to live.
To complete the mission assigned by the System, I have to protect this little villain until the end. I taught him to put aside his petulance and tears, stop mourning what’s past, and turn back from the sea of suffering. But he asked me, if fate had kissed him with pain, why couldn’t he take revenge and reclaim his dignity? Why did he have to swallow his anger and suffer in silence?
Later, he joined the demon clan and crossed swords with me. Tears in his eyes, he cried and accused me of favoring the other disciple. As the leader of the righteous path, I couldn’t retreat from this battle. He took the full force of my sword and leapt alone into the Demon Abyss.
After that, I grew a little mad. The irresistible protagonist took my hand and vowed that we would be together for life, but I could no longer marry him and share a bridal chamber.
Drunk, I dream of another life, yet the pain remains.
p2. The Ridiculous Version
A fragile college student transmigrates into the body of a cold, aloof master. Their mission is to raise two kids properly while also serving as the world’s ambassador for peace. One disciple says he’ll repay his master’s kindness when he grows up, but cuddles turn into a proposal, and now he demands kisses and hugs every day. If his master refuses, he goes down the dark path. The other disciple openly betrays his master and thrives after joining the Demonic Cult. The master just can’t figure out what he did wrong to end up in a situation where everyone wants to marry him.
