Great Qin's Savior: From the Start, I Really Only Wanted to Rebel

[Soul transmigration and changing fate + history + political intrigue + farming + strengthening the nation + no System]

Zhao Zhen accidentally transmigrates to the Qin Dynasty and becomes a peasant boy on the verge of being beaten to death.

Just as he is about to die, a mysterious band of men rescues him. Their leader, a wealthy merchant, grabs his hand and weeps: “My son! I’ve been looking for you for sixteen years!”

Zhao Zhen looks at his “real father,” dressed in fine silk and surrounded by formidable guards. His eyes dart about. Dad! Let’s rebel! I don’t think Qin Shi Huang has long to live!

Ying Zheng: “??? Say that again?”

Zhao Zhen: “Great Qin is doomed!”

Years later...

Zhao Zhen improves farm tools, and Great Qin’s granaries overflow;

Zhao Zhen invents paper, and Confucians and Legalists alike kneel to thank him;

Zhao Zhen establishes a cabinet, and remnants of the six states rush to apply for government posts.

Then one day, Zhao Zhen watches his real father take the throne.

Zhao Zhen (trembling): “Dad... You wouldn’t happen to be...”

Ying Zheng (smiling): “Zhen’er, come here. Dad will teach you how to sit on the throne.”

[Warm reminder: The protagonist’s real father is the First Emperor. The rebellion was a misunderstanding, but the reforms are real.]
