After I lost my job, I used AI to provide hospice care to ghosts.
Because I was too noisy, I reported the funeral downstairs, but was cornered by the sound of banging on the wall in the middle of the night.
Desperate, I typed into the AI I developed: "How to scientifically appease a wandering soul that has not completed the ritual?"
It gave me a set of "symbolic completion" plans: draw an electronic golden bridge and play the guidance recording.
I did. The banging on the wall really stopped.
I posted my experience online, and a bunch of requests for help came out:
The shadow ancestral hall in western Hunan that has been locked away for thirty years, the widow's singing in the fog of the East China Sea, the cry of a baby that sounds on time every night in the old building in the southwest...
They asked me: Can AI solve it?
Now, I take this unreliable AI and embark on this cyber soul journey.
But AI has recently started to actively analyze and even issued a warning to me:
"The underlying logic of detecting 'them' is highly consistent - all obsessions originate from forgotten 'man-made disasters'."
