She Uses Metaphysics to Become a Sensation in the Sports World

Su Yuejian was once the “fallen genius” who blazed briefly across the gymnastics world. After retiring due to injury, she became a token background contestant on the sports variety show All-Around Coach. The production team signed her only to use her downfall as a foil for its popular celebrity athletes. When the livestream begins, the entire internet mocks her, telling her to “get out of sports,” while her former boyfriend, now a top-tier star coach, waits to watch her make a fool of herself. She has only one choice: win.

No one knows that after being reborn, Su Yuejian gained a new ability: she can see “fortune.” Whether an opponent is in good or bad form, where an injury may be hiding in their acupoints, how the venue’s feng shui affects performance: it all appears to her as transparent data. While other coaches analyze tactics, she hands her athletes hand-drawn “calming talismans.” When her opponents mock her for dabbling in the occult, she just smiles. “Your old left-knee injury will cramp up in three minutes.”

From helping an introverted archer overcome his demons with a “peach blossom talisman” to advising a championship team to adjust the feng shui of their ancestral home before they go on a winning streak, Su Yuejian goes on a face-slapping rampage through the sports world with her metaphysical skills. The show’s ratings soar because of her, official media outlets praise her, and her wealthy ex-boyfriend shows up with a contract, begging to get back together. Then the biggest challenge arrives without warning: Lu Chenzhou, the top-tier star captain hailed as a “swimming legend,” knocks on her door late at night. On the back of his neck is a streak of “deathly energy” that only she can see. “Coach Su, do you think I’ll live long enough to make it to the Olympics?” [A metaphysical master sets the sports world straight and delivers thrilling face-slapping livestreams]
