A genius cultivator in the city is framed by fellow disciples and wealthy families, stripped of all his cultivation, and left with a blood feud to avenge. Gravely wounded, he is rescued by a mysterious old village doctor and hides away in a remote mountain village called Taoyuan Village. Though the place seems barren, he discovers the remnants of an ancient spiritual ley line beneath it. The village's old objects and traditional techniques are all lost legacies of cultivation. And so, outwardly a village doctor but secretly growing medicinal herbs with spiritual energy and treating patients with ancient methods, he embarks on a unique path of "rural cultivation."
