I Rule as a Tyrant in the Great Ming, Livestreaming My Defiance of Fate

I, Lin Fan, transmigrated into the Chongzhen era with just thirteen taels left in the national treasury. Yet the officials at court were dressed in cloud brocade as they complained to me about being broke.

I activated the Cross-Time Live-Streaming System on the spot and turned the morning court session into a reality show:

“Minister of Revenue, the comments say your concubine's betrothal gifts cost half a year's pay for the Liaodong army?”

“Grand Secretary, the banknotes tucked into your Analects are trending!”

“Imperial Guard, the viewers have pooled their money for a rocket to see your secret room. Are you opening it or not?”

On day one, a raid turns up three million taels.

On day two, I livestream potato farming, turning the imperial estate into a test farm.

On day three, the Ministry of Works begs me, “Your Majesty, the viewers are clamoring for an update on the flintlock. Could we get five hundred of them first?”

When a comment floats past the throne saying, “Streamer, your favorite consort sold intelligence to Li Zicheng...”

I smile at the camera.

“Guys, next livestream: teaching a traitor some ‘rules.’”
