Hong Kong Films: Backed by the System, I Rise as a Red Pole

Ling Shaoqing transmigrates as an undercover agent with barely a handful of scenes in The Wolf of the Killing. Knowing the tragic fates awaiting everyone in the original plot, he rejects a deadly mission at the critical moment and activates the System, gaining enhancement drugs and skills. From then on, he puts down roots in Zhongyixin, recruits underlings, seizes territory, and builds up capital, rising step by step from a low-level street thug. He aims not only to escape his fate as an undercover agent, but also to sweep through Hong Kong Island’s criminal underworld and become an unrivaled overlord.
