Dorm Survival: Isn't This Just a Tower Defense Game?

Others cut down 1,000 pieces of wood and he can get it done with just 1 piece of wood. Others need 20 gold coins to upgrade a wooden door, but he can do it with 0.02 Gold coins. This extreme contrast brings a sense of satisfaction that cannot be replaced by any complex plot. However, the author did not turn the talent into "brainless crushing", but added the details of "hidden wealth" and "low-key development": pretending to be useless talent in the early stage to avoid being hostile to other players; selling wood at a price of 0.05 Gold coins, which not only earns gold coins but also wins people's hearts; when completing the copy, choose a remote output of 5000 meters away, avoid skills and still grab the output. These details make the protagonist not a simple "fool", but a strong man with wisdom and sense of proportion. From the first kill in the novice area, the first level 2 dormitory, to the official server reaching the combat power list and clearing the A-level dungeon, the protagonist's development rhythm is textbook-level. Every upgrade is stuck in the highlight moment of the "full server announcement". What resonates most with me is the protagonist's attitude of "lying flat to develop": the smart soft bed has added attributes when lying flat, and you can eat potato chips and drink happy water after completing the dungeon. You don't have to work hard to fight monsters, but you can win the whole game. This is simply a spiritual meal replacement for contemporary young people. It not only satisfies the fantasy of "becoming stronger", but also does not have to bear the fatigue of "involution". This sense of balance makes this book stand out among many cool articles.

As a senior tower defense game enthusiast, this book is simply my dream novel! The author perfectly combines tower defense elements with survival stories. From level 1 wooden doors and level 1 sign-in desks to level 10 paralysis turrets and level 5 light prism towers, each facility upgrade has clear attribute changes and visual descriptions: the paralysis turret changes from purple-blue current to purple-blue electric light, the light prism tower changes from white light to golden white light, and the annihilation turret changes from black light to blood-red sight. Each evolution makes people excited. What's even more amazing is the combination of the tower defense combination: Freezing air conditioner slows down (double the enemy's attack frequency) + Paralysis turret control (70% paralysis probability) + Electromagnetic turret clearing (chain 5 targets) + Prism tower burst (real damage second boss). This set of "field control + clearing + burst" combo boxing is simply an ideal configuration for tower defense players. Watching the protagonist use this set of punches to easily crush ghosts and defeat other players is so exciting. The pleasure of "strategizing" is better than playing tower defense games by yourself. In addition to the tower defense elements, the plot conflicts are also well designed: the survival pressure in the novice area (300,000 people were eliminated on the first night), the combat power competition in the official server (the hostility of Ye Chen and Zhang Xueying), the challenge of the dungeon (failure of the A-level dungeon means death), and the highlight moment of the global live broadcast (clearing 161 waves of the promotion dungeon). These conflicts make "upgrading tower defense" no longer a simple accumulation of values, but a process with goals, challenges, and rewards. What amazes me the most is the settings of "Characteristic Cards" and "Title Superposition": attack halo + must-have for lazy people + steel plate characteristics, so that the turret attributes and defense capabilities are superimposed layer by layer. Every time you unlock new characteristics and new titles, you can bring new cool points. This "continuously unlocking new gameplay" design avoids the lack of plot in the later stage and keeps me looking forward to the "next upgrade". Moreover, the author controls the numerical values very accurately. A light prism tower with 5 million attacks and a steel door with 100 million durability may seem outrageous, but combined with the overlay logic of talents, titles, and skins, it seems reasonable. This "outrageous but self-consistent" numerical system makes the feeling of excitement both impactful and not suspended. Tower defense enthusiasts can really rush with their eyes closed!

It's so good. One chapter introduces talents ten times, the effects of selling and buying talents in brackets, and there are really many water characters. It's great for readers.

Ye Chen feels relieved every time he jumps out and gets slapped in the face. This kind of "King of Strong Mouth" villain knows how to poke and feel good!

Why does he have to carefully check the level after upgrading every day, and also check the number of gold coins, one by one. What are you doing when you have nothing to do?

How come the discount is one percent for one moment and one thousandth for the next? Who taught mathematics?

Different survival, same people, good-looking

Not bad. I'll give you a five-star review.

Very nice, I like it very much

In the part about making more than 5,000 gold coins by reselling wood, the protagonist is simply a business genius, which is exciting and real!
