"Mo... Xiao Mo, quit sleeping, you little rascal. Get up and get to work!"
When Xu Zimo was startled awake by the shout, he thought he was hallucinating from a hangover. One second, he was a clever man with impressive skills. The next, he had transmigrated into a minor cannon-fodder character in a novel and become the lowest-level warehouse porter, alongside the original male lead, Li Yang.
Life in the warehouse is lively and down-to-earth. Team leader Lai Liushun says "you little rascal" every day, yet always gives him the easy jobs. The mischievous Yang Xiaomeng glares and shouts, "What are you looking at? Nothing to see here!" then secretly helps him scan the missing orders. The gentle Qi Xiaotian calls out in her sweet voice, "Xiao Momo, what are you doing?" and never shows up without something to eat. The cold and aloof Manager Su walks by in high heels and tosses out, "Work hard. Don't slack off," but can't help sneaking a few extra glances at him. There's also the shy Zhuang Rui, who silently helps him carry heavy loads, and Tan Yao, the tall beauty at the supermarket by the entrance, who makes his heart skip at first sight.
He thought he'd just keep taking it easy in the warehouse and building up experience. Who knew that a month later, alien monsters would burst from the ground, plunging humanity into a slaughter. The warehouse's former team leader and porter, Lai Liushun, transforms into the apocalypse's leader and protector.
