Sherlock Holmes and the Qimen Warlock

Lin Yunsheng is the last descendant of a family of Daoist practitioners in late Qing China. When her family's treasured artifact, the “Square-Inch Universe,” a spatial artifact, draws her into a temporal storm, she crashes into London in 1890. She is no all-knowing deity. Her Daoist arts are limited by the sparse spiritual energy of this world, and her spatial abilities are deeply tied to her physical strength and state of mind. What she calls the “supernatural” is, to Sherlock Holmes, a “new natural” phenomenon to observe, classify, and deduce.
