[Apocalypse + Hoarding Supplies + High IQ + Utterly Self-Interested + No Female Lead + No System]
In 2028, an endless rain heralds the beginning of the apocalypse.
Lin Lan is a top actuary who doesn’t just want to survive. He wants to live better than anyone else.
Three months before the disaster hits, he does everything other people consider foolish.
He mortgages his multimillion-yuan mansion, takes on enormous high-interest loans, and buys a pile of seemingly useless generators, kayaks, and tons of diesel.
As everyone laughs at him, he turns his home into an impregnable fortress.
Even the annoying poodle downstairs becomes a set of data in his eyes: [Edibility: Low, Alert Function: Medium].
When the flood sweeps away every rule, morality and law vanish without a trace.
Survivors form new tribes on the water, doing whatever it takes to stay alive.
And Lin Lan, with his foresight in stockpiling supplies and his utterly rational mind, becomes the power broker pulling the strings in this new world.
“Don’t talk to me about feelings. In my calculations, emotions are the highest-risk variable.”
This is a gamble for survival, and Lin Lan has already seen everyone’s cards.
The real doomsday should be both despair and not despair. What does it mean? Let me use an analogy. Inside a concentration camp during World War II. The first people to die are those with higher education Because their demands on people are higher than ordinary people, they will commit suicide. Which animal has forgotten, but if its cubs are caught by humans, it will bite its cubs to death? Because he does not allow his cubs to be kept in captivity by humans. So there should be a cold hope in the desperate apocalypse. Otherwise, look at there are so many self-defeating people in the world.
The first 60 chapters are all in the process of training. It may be because of this natural disaster setting that I can't write other chapters. In the middle, people slowly come and the body begins to evolve. However, training plots are still frequently interspersed in the middle. I don't know if it will decrease in the later period. However, it is correct to be selfish, not a holy mother, and not merciful. Several people also have skills, but this arrangement is too coincidental, and the beginning is not considered a community war god, because there are not many fights between neighbors, only a small part. We will see if it will reduce the training process in the future. After training for so long, it is okay to deepen the brainwashing occasionally, but it should not be done if it continues like this.
It should be said that it is much better than most apocalyptic novels. Looking forward to it
A very good post-apocalyptic article worth reading
The writing is really unique, but the shortcoming is that it is too short. Please give more updates from the author [laughter] 👍
It's okay, but Pig's Knuckle is too calm and feels a bit invincible. There is no time for frustration
It's quite fun to watch without thinking. As for the logic...
The male protagonist is calm, cold and well-prepared. He is more interesting than those stocked in supermarkets. But the author has updated 3 books at the same time. Can it be updated?
A very nice doomsday book. Keep up the good work. The writing is good.
The author is very good at writing
