After transmigrating as an NPC, Wu Chang gets saddled with an incredibly aggravating “System Family Pack.”
Does the Six-Meridian Divine Sword become the One-Meridian Sword?
Does Li’s Flying Dagger become Kid’s Flying Dagger?
Just as he’s preparing to lie low and quietly level up in the starter village, a bunch of goofy players with IDs over their heads arrive.
And so, the game takes a sudden turn.
Players who originally wanted to conquer another world discover that the starter village has a nightmare they can never get around.
He scams them out of their money, lies to them, gives them bizarre quests, and even sells them to brothels...
The players say, “Sure, Wu Chang’s a jerk, but he gives us so much stuff!”
Watching players all over the world work for him without pay, take the blame for him, and send him money and free kills, Wu Chang accepts their hard-earned cash with tears in his eyes.
He can only sigh helplessly:
“I only wanted to do one good deed a day and build up some merit. Why do you insist on draping this imperial robe over my shoulders?”
Good? The author seems to be writing the strange system as a selling point of the design, but I don't think it is very brilliant. Instead, it makes the direction of the plot development quite casual and the characters become unlikable. The supporting characters are well portrayed, each character has outstanding characters, and the basic skills are solid. If you can accept the gangster protagonist, you can watch [Chigua]
The plot is okay, but the protagonist's outlook is not to my liking. He is indeed a gangster. I don't like it, but I still like the righteous protagonist.
