[Period setting, military marriage, reborn]
Qin Menghe and Wu Jifeng were betrothed before they were born.
Just before Qin Menghe turned eighteen, her step-grandmother secretly arranged for her stepsister, Qin Feiyan, to cancel the engagement under the pretext of enlisting in the army.
The excuse given was that Qin Menghe had someone back in the village, found the army too far away and life there too hard, and didn’t want to go.
When her stepsister failed to take her place in the engagement, she married the son of a military officer from the Wu family instead.
Later, Qin Menghe received a short letter from Wu Jifeng saying that their engagement was over.
Qin Menghe assumed he had found someone else and wanted to call off the marriage.
Six months later, her younger sister came down with a high fever. The medicine saved her, but left her disabled.
Her step-grandmother took the sisters in, then used that favor to make Qin Menghe work hard, earn work points, and serve the entire family.
Qin Menghe spent half her life toiling away and remained unmarried, caring for her sister until the end of their lives.
She subsisted on meager food in the countryside, was drained of every bit of value, and was eventually driven from the family home.
Decades later, while visiting a grave, Qin Menghe learned the truth about what had happened all those years ago.
By then, Qin Feiyan had married into the Wu family and become the wife of a high-ranking officer.
Reborn, Qin Menghe finds herself back at the age of eighteen...
It's great. I've read many chronicle essays, and this is the most unique one. The pure relationship between the heroine and the ethnic minorities is so touching. There is no cliché space, and there are no endless love affairs and jealous neighbors in the career. Although the relationship between the male and female protagonists is relatively small, it is still very exciting.
Wow, this article is so beautiful! The words and sentences are like smart musical notes, and the rhythm is harmonious; the emotional expression is delicate and deep, just like a gurgling stream refreshing the heart and mind. It is simply a pleasure to read!
It's really good to watch, but I just didn't feel like it was enough to watch. It was a bit short and left something to be desired. I especially liked watching the heroine and the people in the ethnic village. This kind of interaction and simple feelings was so well written!
The plot is more realistic, attracting readers and reluctant to stop.
It was okay at the beginning, I hope to read a very exciting novel
The storyline is very attractive, the characters are fleshy, flesh-and-blood, and captivating.
So far it looks good
This book is well written. The author has good questions. Zhang Jingchu. This book is well written. The author has good writing style. The article is compact and not so cumbersome.
Good-looking, very good-looking, super good-looking
