Synopsis of the story of "Xuanwu Secret File"
On the autumn night of 1943, Gu Jingshen, a reporter for Shanghai's "Zi Lin Xi Bao", unexpectedly discovered clues about the Japanese army's "Bluebell" germ warfare plan while reporting. In order to reveal the truth, she, tailor Shen Mo, underground party member Qixi Shi and others broke into the devil's cave-like Qixia Villa and witnessed the brutal human experiments. On the way to escape, Gu Jingshen discovered that her mother, the Japanese scientist Ryoko Yamaguchi who had been missing for 13 years, was lurking beside her as a comrade-in-arms "Lin Wanzhou". In the secret room of Jing'an Temple, the mother exchanged her life for the fatal evidence of "Bluebell". Gu Jingshen traveled across the ocean with top-secret files, and nailed the war criminals to the pillar of historical shame with blood and tearful testimony at the Tokyo Tribunal. After the war, the survivors opened a tailor shop by the Suzhou River. The smoke has cleared, but the stories of those who held fire in the darkness will eventually become an everlasting glimmer of light in the national memory.
