Xuetuan transmigrates into the body of a fluffy lop-eared rabbit. Just as he's nibbling on tender grass and wanders into wolf territory, Cangjin, the black-maned wolf pack leader in rut, carries him off to his private den.

There's Lingyao, the golden eagle who hides him, a rainbow lorikeet, against his chest and flies through storms spanning thousands of miles; Moyuan, the polar bear who secretly clears every danger from his path as a snow ferret and tells him he's “amazing at hunting”; and Canglan, the great white shark who dares take on a pod of orcas for him when he's a dolphin…
The big shots in each world take different beast forms, but they all share the same possessive streak. During rut season, they're unbearably clingy, pampering him into a useless little thing who never has to grow up.
Curled up in his big shot's arms, Xuetuan munches on flower nectar and nuzzles their fur. “What if I can't do anything?”
The big shot lowers his head and rubs his nose against Xuetuan's forehead, his voice low and gentle. “That's all right. I'll take care of you for the rest of your life.”
Only in his final life does Xuetuan discover that from the first fleeting glance in the wolf clan's hunting grounds, every encounter has been the creator god's long-planned act of devotion.
