Harry Potter: The Falcon Girl of Hogwarts

She was “planted” in a greenhouse of despair, yet blossomed amid the ashes of those she loved most.

Rowena Selwyn's left eye seals away the Dark Lord's unfinished ambition: a darkness imprisoned within her. The “care” of a Dementor puppet and the nurturing of false familial affection taught her to wrap her heart, yearning for warmth yet afraid of loss, in a cold shell.

She is an outcast at Hogwarts, a silent gray shadow in Gryffindor Tower.

Until she meets Luna Lovegood, a girl who can see the “weary butterflies” in her eyes. That perfectly pure gaze becomes the first ray of moonlight to illuminate her abyss.

As the shadow of war falls once more, Rowena must choose: let the darkness inside her devour everything, or let love be her guide and burn this cursed power into a light, most blazing and yet most fleeting, that pierces the long night.

“If my birth was a mistake,” she whispers, touching her left eye as Luna stands before her, “then meeting you is the only magic that can set it right.”
