A sweet, spirited transfer student and sanda champion × a cool-headed top student shunned by the whole school
On her first day at Hangcheng High School, Fang Zhiyin stumbles upon the school's biggest “secret.”
Jiang Hongyu, the top student in his grade, is being pinned down behind the science building by the school bully, who is forcing him to catch a drugged-up, rabid rat with his bare hands.
The boy's eyes are lowered. His uniform has been washed until it's faded, and the blood at the corner of his mouth is glaring.
Fang Zhiyin strolls over with a lollipop in her mouth.
“Giving animals meth so they’ll bite people?” She tilts her head, grinning sweetly and fiercely. “Your ‘observation report’ sounds pretty criminal.”
Later, she becomes his deskmate.
She announces to everyone, “From today on, I’ve got his back.”
She barges into his life without asking permission.
The whole school bets on when this arrogant transfer student will “voluntarily” drop out, just like the girl who tried to help him before.
At first, Jiang Hongyu resists.
Then, somewhere along the way, he realizes he only likes listening to her.
This isn't a life out of control. It's a whole new, brilliant life.
Until the night before the college entrance exams, when Jiang Hongyu is trapped in a downpour.
Fang Zhiyin stands there in red, holding a lollipop stick.
“Game over.”
Behind her, the Qi family's bodyguards stand in silent, densely packed rows.
