<Mind-Bending Thriller + Philosophical Suspense + Emotional Stakes>
I can trade time and glimpse the future, but every second burns away my own life.
To save someone dear to me, I signed a contract and took on a countdown with just 365 days left.
From then on, I became a time merchant, moving among the wealthy, criminals, and fugitives. I traded five days of my life for a crucial clue from a kidnapper's mind, and thirty days to foresee a murder plot.
I thought this was just a brutal business of trading lifespan for information.
Until I discovered that part of every payment was a "credit advance," as if an invisible "System" were giving me a loan.
Until a dead person I had traded with spoke to my future self in a fragment from three years ago.
Until the lover I had personally saved asked in bewilderment one late night, "Wait... who are you, exactly?"
The watchmaker's invitation arrived right on schedule: "Welcome to the truth. The world is a simulation on the verge of collapse, and you, dear Experiment No. 7, are our final patch."
Now, with only a little time left, I stand before the System's core.
Reset the world, and I will cease to exist.
Destroy the System, and reality will descend into chaos.
And I choose to...
Inject all my memories and will, in reverse, into the initial code that created me.
Haha😄😄The male protagonist's actions were very similar to those of a programmer who was writing bugs like crazy in a testing environment. As a result, he was caught by the product manager (Su Wan) using an ancestral tool (recording pen). Looking forward to the follow-up, how can programmers counterattack the product manager?
When I saw the moment when Su Wan's recorder absorbed the golden light in Chapter 5, I sat up from the bed. This was not an ordinary superpower novel at all. The author was playing a big game of chess. The recorder was definitely a relic of his father. It was related to the experiment of the male protagonist. It's scary to think about it. I doubt that there is a normal person around the protagonist.
This book can be made into a TV series. It has a sense of logic and needs to be savored slowly 👍
Big cheers for the author! Those who do game design know how to make a living [Admiration]
I like another book by the author. Come and read it.
