I Am a Time Merchant

<Extreme brain-burning + philosophical suspense + emotional anchor> I could trade time, glimpse into the future, but every minute burned with my own life. In order to save my loved ones, I signed a contract with only 365 days remaining on my back. From then on, I became a time merchant walking among the rich, criminals and desperadoes. Use five days to exchange key clues from the kidnapper's mind; use thirty days to predict a murder scam. I thought this was just a cruel trade of exchanging lifespan for information. Until I discovered that part of all remuneration was "overdraft limit" - as if there was an invisible "system" providing me with a loan. Until the dead person I traded, in the clip from three years ago, talks to my future self. Until the lover I personally rescued asked confusedly late one night: "Wait a minute... Who are you?" The invitation from the clockmaker arrived as promised: "Welcome to get a glimpse of the truth. The world is a simulation that is about to collapse, and you, dear Experimental Subject No. 7, Are our final patch." Now, I am holding the remaining time and standing in front of the core of the system. Reset the world and I will cease to exist. Destroy the system and reality will return to chaos. And I choose—— Inject all my memories and will into the original code that created me.
