[A gentle, reserved literature student x a rebellious physics prodigy]
[One-on-one romance + two top students + pure love]
A chance encounter stirred by youthful feelings, a missed connection brought about by a twist of fate, and an ending that leaves the heart aching.
At Xia Nan University in the coastal city of Nancheng, cicadas buzz through the summer, and phoenix flowers bloom twice a year. The buildings of the literature and physics departments are separated by a tree-lined path planted with camphor trees, much like Su Wanxia and Lu Zhinan, who were originally two parallel lines never meant to cross.
“Cicadas sing in summer, the southern wind arrives. To meet you is to meet summer.”
