In the shadows of the Warp, Maris, the "Lord of Chaos and Betrayal," an embodiment of treachery and self-destruction, opened his eyes. Meanwhile, the champions chosen by the Four Gods planned to sacrifice an entire sector to "slay a god and seize the throne." Kalanter had to face not only the corruption of Chaos and the encirclement of traitors, but also the "God-War" unleashed by this band of madmen. *"You think you're investigating the truth. Maris's followers are just as chaotic: they punch the Imperium and kick Chaos. Among the Eight Aetheric Domains, Maris corresponds to "Greedy Dissolution," and hates everything, including himself. Unlike the Chaos Gods, Maris can be summoned into the material universe with enough sacrifice and a body that can serve as a vessel for possession.
