Lucky Carp on the Run: Bodhisattva, I’m New to This Job!

Xiao Hong was the laziest, most slippery little koi in the lotus pond of the Bodhisattva. One day, she botched a performance and ended up in the body of Fu Bao, a mute five-year-old girl on the road fleeing famine, barely clinging to life.

She only wants to be a quiet nobody, but her koi instincts are carved into her soul. Her passive skill, “Auspicious Blessing,” is fully activated and simply can’t be turned off!

Point at a parched field, and a spring appears.

Look up at the blazing sun, and life-saving rain falls.

Give her father’s sleeve a casual tug, and wild yams and bird eggs come right to them...

The refugees are stunned. Could this little mute girl be a “lucky koi in human form”?

Fu Bao: Bodhisattva, I just want to lie flat. I really don’t know how to do this!

The refugees: No, you’re an expert! Fu Bao, please point us toward another way out!

From mute girl to “lucky star,” from desperation to hope.

Watch as a koi who never wanted to work is forced into action, spreading good fortune along the road and leading everyone toward a bumper harvest unlike any other...
