I Washed Ashore with Amnesia and Dragged My Nemesis Home

I’m a straightforward, tiger-hearted daughter of a military family. He’s the court’s chief minister, with the looks of an immortal and the cunning of a fox. I considered him my sworn enemy, until the day we both fell into the water and the villagers mistook us for lovers eloping together.

After losing my memory in the fall, I opened my eyes to find a breathtakingly beautiful man. The villagers said that when they rescued us, we were clutching each other tightly, so we must be deeply in love. He was the sweetheart I’d protected with my life. Whenever I saw him, my heart raced. He patiently coaxed me: “This condition is called lovesickness.”

I believed him. So I went up the mountain to hunt and provide for us, while he stayed home reading and making tea, attracting every eligible woman in the village. With his low, coaxing voice, he persuaded me to marry him and write a “pledge” promising I’d never let him down...

Until my memories returned.

It turned out that every time my heart raced, it was because I wanted to run him through with a blade...

I kicked him off the bed. “You treacherous dog of a minister, what are you doing in my bed?!”

He calmly leaned over me, his smile devilish. “A Zhao, you’re the wife I married before Heaven and Earth. Have you forgotten?”
