[A truly formidable woman on top vs. a devoted, guiding puppy who's happy to stand in her shadow]
Lin Nan, leader of the Night Owl Organization and a top agent, transmigrates by accident into the body of another Lin Nan, the long-lost daughter of the Lin family: a pitiful girl who quietly returned to her birth family to donate a kidney to her father, hoping to repay them for giving her life.
Lin Nan decides to fulfill the original owner's last wish, but waiting for her are not only her father, gravely ill and unconscious, but also a fight over the family fortune controlled by her uncle and his family, a younger brother raised to be a good-for-nothing playboy, a timid mother with no mind of her own, and a spiteful cousin who sees her as a threat to her inheritance. A decisive agent, Lin Nan strikes back. No one can stop her from setting her family straight.
The disowned heir of the Bai family in Haicheng has been keeping a low profile for years. Then he meets Lin Nan and realizes that hiding his light under a bushel for too long has made others mistake him for a sick cat. It's time to remind certain people that even a blind man can bite.
