A swarm of giant meteorites hit the earth, turning the surface into a purgatory of fire and dust. Humanity retreated underground to build dispersed shelters. An unknown manic virus breaks out in Panshi Shelter. The infected people become ferocious and spread at an alarming rate. At the same time, the water supply system is destroyed by underground undercurrents and resources are on the verge of exhaustion. Doctor {Lin Xia} was ordered to lead a team to drive a probe vehicle and embark on a journey to other shelters to seek help. All you see along the way are virus-ravaged ruins or empty cities with depleted resources, and hope is getting slimmer. As the team went deeper underground, they unexpectedly discovered a "seed shelter" left over from the old era - it contained medical supplies, water sources and crop seeds, but was home to ferocious mutant creatures. In a desperate situation, {Lin Xia} must lead the team to fight a bloody road to regain this last fire for human existence.
