But this is the first novel that looks squarely at Liang Lu instead of smearing her.
Liang Lu has no shortcomings except for her love brain. Looks, body, power, brains, and character are all top-notch. And most importantly, she regards her husband as her first priority. Even though her father was the third provincial, even though her brother was the deputy, even though she could always crush Qi Tongwei, she still tolerated everything Qi Tongwei did. No matter the cold violence, humiliation, or spreading rumors about her, raising women and having children outside, she endured it all.
