Journey to the West: The Demonic Path at the End of Time

A freak electrocution accident sends Lin Che, an avid Journey to the West fan, transmigrating to Blue Star. To his surprise, its geography closely matches the pilgrimage route in the original novel, and the ancient tale of Journey to the West is now unfolding through a string of murder cases: a skinned female corpse at White Tiger Ridge in Jinling, a bizarre fire at the Flaming Mountain tourist site, and a case of lost memories in a swamp in Liusha City... Every stop along the pilgrimage route conceals demonic forces at work.

Even more astonishingly, a ghostly, interactive image of Journey to the West appears in Lin Che's mind. Recalling events from the book allows him to awaken the corresponding supernatural abilities.

To find his way home, he becomes a crime investigator and follows the route from the Great Tang in the Eastern Land to White Tiger Ridge, Flaming Mountain, Lion Camel Ridge, and finally Mount Ling. As he investigates each step of the way, he unexpectedly gets caught up in the Hongmeng Society's earth-shattering plot.
