The insect race is based entirely on my own original setting, where females are honored and males are subordinate. The heroine is nonhuman in her true form, but can take on a humanoid guise.
Important: Do not assume this has the same setting as BL insect-race novels! They are not the same thing!
(P.S. Since the heroine isn’t even human, surely no one’s going to call her inhuman, right?)
